“ I recently purchased a Lexus TX 350 Luxury from Lexus of Towson, and I am absolutely thrilled with my new vehicle. The dealership ultimately helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and I appreciate everyone who worked to complete the purchase. My experience, however, was more stressful than it needed to be because I received inconsistent information from different members of the sales team. Throughout the process, I had to repeatedly ask for clarification regarding the vehicle, pricing, and included features. At times, it seemed that communication between team members was lacking, making it difficult to feel confident that everyone was working from the same information. Improving communication and consistency throughout the sales process would make an already good experience an excellent one. “ I've bought multiple Lexus vehicles over the years, so I know what to expect from the Lexus brand – this experience fell far short! Thursday, I spoke with salesperson Nathan about a vehicle. Friday, I test drove 2 vehicles and wanted to move forward with one of them. I asked about price flexibility and the service history. His manager, Usman, said the car couldn't be sold yet because it hadn't passed Maryland State Inspection. I was told the inspection would finish Monday and I could return then to buy it. Disappointing, but I appreciated the honesty and left believing the car was mine. Saturday morning (July 4th), Nathan texted that he'd gotten my price approved and to start the financing application so paperwork could move and I could come in that afternoon. I started the application and arranged to be there at 1:00 PM, understanding I'd finalize paperwork Saturday and pick up the car Monday after inspection. About 30 minutes later, Nathan texted: the vehicle was sold. A car that "couldn't legally be sold" Friday was gone less than 24 hours later. That doesn't add up. Worse was what followed. I called Nathan repeatedly that Saturday. Kevin and the receptionist both confirmed he was there, but I got no callback. I'd already rearranged my day and completed financing paperwork based on their word. Nathan didn't call back for four days! Not to apologize, but to ask if I wanted a different vehicle. I could accept losing the car – that happens. What I can't accept is being told it legally couldn't be sold, then encouraged to finance it because the deal was "approved," then losing it in less than 24 hours. I've always trusted Lexus for integrity and service. This experience was NOT that – the poor communication, a car sold mid-process, days of silence…all disappointing. Sharing this with Lexus Corporate too, since it's not the experience the brand promises. ”

“ Very poor experience with the service shop. Was charged $270 for diagnosis after I presented P-code (basically, they merely confirmed the information I presented). Charged me another $500 to replace 2 spark plugs. After 3 days, same problem resurfaced. I requested to service rep that I not be charged for another diagnosis fee, but received no response. This dealership failed to see my point of view after charging $740 for a very minor service, and then did not offer any concession when the same problem resurfaced. This dealership has permanently lost my business. ”
